DelMonte Haven

Your Beach, Just Down the Road.

Copacabana Beach is just a 6 minute walk from the front door, and it takes your breath away every time. Patrolled, family friendly and uncrowded even in peak season, it’s the kind of beach people think no longer exists. The rock pool at the north end is where locals bring their kids and visitors soon become regulars.

Back in the village, everything you need is within an easy stroll. Three much loved cafes for your morning ritual, two relaxed restaurants for effortless evenings, plus the chemist, corner store, yoga studio and bottle shop.

Walk south along the sand, past the lagoon, and you’ll find yourself at MacMasters Beach with its own rock pool, surf club and cafes. Two beaches. One easy walk. And that rare feeling you’ve discovered something special.

Slow Days, Simple Pleasures.

Start with sunrise at the beach, where you’ll often have the sand almost to yourself.

During whale season from June to November, take your morning coffee up to Captain Cook Lookout and watch humpbacks breach just offshore. It never gets old. Spend the afternoon in the rock pool with the kids, wander the coastal tracks through Bouddi National Park, or simply do nothing at all on the deck and let the birdsong fill the silence. As the light softens, fire up the BBQ, pour something cold, and settle in for a balcony dinner with trees and sky as your backdrop.

The truth about Copacabana is simple. The best experiences cost nothing. Beach walks, sea air, kookaburras at dawn and unhurried time that’s hard to find anywhere else. This is where you remember what slowing down feels like.

Explore the Central Coast and beyond.

Step outside and within minutes you’re at Captain Cook Lookout, a front row seat to whale season from June to November. Bouddi National Park offers gentle coastal walks and longer bushland tracks, while the 5 Lands Walk links Copacabana with MacMasters, Avoca and Terrigal along some of the most beautiful coastline on the Central Coast.

Just 10 minutes south, Avoca brings lagoon swims, weekend markets and relaxed village charm. 15 minutes away, Terrigal offers waterfront dining, and a little more buzz when you’re in the mood for it.

Everything is close. Yet coming home always feels like stepping back into the quiet.

Eat Well, Drink Slowly.

From beachside breakfasts in Copacabana to sunset tapas at Ocean Bar Cantina, practically your neighbour, good food is never far away. Wander to Lady Copa for woodfired pizza that keeps families coming back, or grab your morning coffee at Burnt Honey in the village.

MacMasters has Barefoot Café, home of the legendary bacon and egg roll, and Looloo’s Coffee Shack for a quick caffeine hit with an ocean breeze.

In Avoca, The Point Café offers spectacular deck views over breakfast, while Terrigal brings waterfront dining, long lunches and some of the Central Coast’s best restaurants. Whether it’s fish and chips on the sand or a special night out, relaxed dining is simply part of life here.
